The eight finalists for the BBVA Award for Business Innovation have been chosen
Countdown to find out about the winning project of the BBVA Award for Business Innovation in Tarragona, which aims to recognize the value of innovative initiatives in the field of digital transformation or the sustainability of our territories.
The members of the jury have already chosen the eight finalists among the 24 projects that have submitted a candidacy for these awards, aimed at self-employed workers and SMEs with a turnover limit of 5 million euros per year and with headquarters in the Tarragona region.
The decision of the verdict will be announced the day after tomorrow, Thursday, November 24, in an act that will be held in the Victoria Clemente room of the Diario de Tarragona and that will have the participation of José Ballester, territorial director of BBVA Catalonia, of Ivan Bofarull, Chief Innovation Officer at ESADE and Àngel Xifré, delegate of the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia in Tarragona.
These are the companies Magnore, Talentea, Composer, Dehaan Altés, Tecnovelero, Microalgae Lab, Autoescuela Jordi and Servidron Sirgar.
The winning company will receive a prize in kind valued at 18,000 euros in a communication/advertising campaign in the Tarragona Newspaperwith appearances in the Sunday supplement Economy&Businessthe Business Excellence Guide 2023 and the paper and digital edition of the Daily, as well as an annual subscription. The two finalist companies will each receive two prizes in kind valued at 9,000 euros.
The jury for the awards was formally constituted in June and is made up of five leading institutions in the territory. On the one hand, Sandra Morales, director of the BBVA area in Tarragona and Núria Pérez, director of Diari de Tarragona, as promoters of these guardians of innovation. On the other, Mercedes Teruel, director of the Chair for the Promotion of Business Innovation at the URV; Daniel Martín, director and general secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Tarragona and Pablo Mazón, president of the Southern Catalonia ICT Cluster and CEO of the company Movertis.
