Reus Airport recovers in September 92.4% of the passengers of the same month of 2019

Reus Airport has registered 148,341 passengers in September, which implies a recovery of 92.4% in relation to the same month of 2019. International travelers already reach 92.5% of the pre-pandemic figures, with a total of 147,537, while the national passage has increased by 77.5%, with 403 travelers.

So far in 2022, Reus Airport has accumulated a total of 811,412 users, a recovery of 85.9% compared to the same period in 2019. In these nine months, 803,723 international travelers have passed through Reus Airport, with which recovers 86.1% of the same period of 2019. For its part, the national market has recovered by 67.5%, with 3,653 domestic passengers.

In terms of operations, 2,086 movements were made in September, 10% more than in the same month of 2019. Between January and September, 15,584 flights were operated by Reus Airport, 8.9% more than the nine first months of 2019.

In September, international flights have recovered by 93.8% compared to the same period in 2019, with 892 movements, and have totaled 5,131 since the beginning of the year, which represents a recovery of 90.9% compared to the figures 2019. From January to September, 355 national operations were registered, which implies a recovery of 66% in relation to the same period of 2019.
