High Season wants to attract tourism all year round to La Ràpita

The High Season campaign returns to La Ràpita in order to promote the municipality as a tourist destination that offers all kinds of activities 365 days a year. This year, the campaign launched by the Department of Tourism and the business fabric, grouped in the Nautical Station, comes with the label #laràpita365 to promote tourism from November to May. During these months, the local tourism and nautical sector continues to offer all kinds of experiences and activities, taking advantage of the good weather that characterizes the territory and the uniqueness of the Els Alfacs bay and the Ebro delta. «We highlight the differentiating features that exist in La Rápita to enjoy the offer such as exclusivity and tranquility, betting on a tourism model based on sustainability and the environment, within the Terres de l'Ebre Biosphere Reserve, remarks the first deputy mayor and government delegate in the Ebro, Albert Salvadó.

The president of the Nautical Station, Joan Barberà, highlights the bay of Els Alfacs as an "excellent space for practicing water sports all year round, with calm waters, shallow waters and wonderful corners that we can only discover by sailing." Among the activities offered to encourage tourism during these months are routes through the mussel farms in a large boat with a tasting of mussels and oysters; routes through the mussels by sea taxi, sailing routes and river excursions; guided cultural routes and activities related to nature and ecotourism; Sea Bike rental, light sailing or windsurfing, special light sailing classes for couples and windsurfing and guided sailing tours.

The first activity added to the season calendar of the #laràpita365 High Season campaign is San Silvestre Marítima, on December 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the traditional race adapted to the possibilities of the Alfacs Bay, while will make a solidarity donation for La Marató de TV3.
