Five of the seven injured in the explosion of La Rambla, at home
The gas explosion at the Koyo restaurant on the Rambla Nova in Tarragona, after lunch on Sunday, resulted in seven injuries, five workers and two pedestrians.
Sources from the Department of Health have reported this Monday that five have already been discharged and the other two will be released in the next few hours if there are no unforeseen events.
The gas explosion, originating in the kitchen, caused a shock wave that affected seven people, five near the origin of the explosion and two pedestrians who, when the restaurant's windows fell, were affected by these damages.
The causes of this explosion, as the Diari has advanced, could be improper manipulation of a stopcock, which had been sealed hours before when the gas company detected a leak in one of the kitchens.
