Aragonès continues contacts to set up his new Govern alone
The president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, has continued his discreet contacts this Sunday to finish configuring his new Government alone, after last Friday JxCat decided to break the coalition executive.
Aragonés arrived at the Palacio de la Generalitat around 9:30 a.m. to continue the meetings with his trusted team, headed by the director of the Office of Strategy and Communication of the President and the Government, Sergi Sabrià.
Sources close to the Catalan president consulted have indicated that Aragonès is still finalizing the design of the new Government since all the names that will replace the JxCat ministers who have left the executive and whose resignation is scheduled to be published at the beginning of this next week in the Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia (DOGC).
Yesterday, Saturday, Aragonès already maintained contacts with this objective and spoke with representatives of the economic and social agents to evaluate the situation derived from the departure of JxCat from the Government.
