The Deputy Secretary of Communication of the PP, Pablo Montesinos, announced this Wednesday that will leave his seat in Congress and will leave politics after the extraordinary congress that the match will be held in Seville on April 1 and 2.
“I have moved Married my decision to leave political life after the PP congress. It has been a real honor to be a deputy for my land, Malaga”, confirmed Montesinos himself in a message on his official Twitter account, which Europa Press has collected.
I have moved to @pablocasado_ my decision to leave political life after the PP congress. It has been a real honor to be a deputy for my land, Malaga.
I am very proud to have been part of Casado’s project and I wish the best to the next leadership of the party.

Montesinos headed the PP list for Malaga in the general elections of April 28, putting aside his profession as a journalist. In these almost three years, she has been in charge of the Deputy Secretary of Communication of the party.
With Casado, “until the end”
These days, he had already publicly pointed out that he does not understand political life without Pablo Casado, with whom “he will be until the end”. “I am very proud to have been part of the Casado project and I wish the best to the next leadership of the party”, has added in the same social network.
Montesinos has reiterated this Wednesday, in statements to a group of journalists, that he entered politics for Casado and, consequently, he will resign his “political responsibilities once he leaves the presidency of the party”, foreseen in the April congress and where Alberto Núñez Feijóo will predictably be elected as the new leader.
“You have at your disposal the best in Genoa 13, a splendid team of journalists who do a great job every day and to whom I sincerely thank for their help during all these years”, said Montesinos.
