In this edition, whose residence period will begin next May, there are seven spaces called, between 25 and 50 m2, and In their proposal, the applicants must detail what their project is, their motivations for wanting to develop it within the framework of this community space and shared managementand what initiatives and activities open to participation will they promote, during that time and by their own means, as a return to the neighborhood and the city.
The bases offer the possibility that residences can be shared by several different groups whose projects can make the use of space compatible.
The main objective of these residences is to continue expanding the community that participates in the management of this cultural space, one of the most valued projects in Aragon in the Observatory of Culture published by the Contemporary Foundation and one of the only three Aragonese cultural facilities that appear in the study, together with CaixaForum and the CDAN.
Since its launch in 2018, up to 21 different groups have been able to temporarily develop their initiatives in the eleven residences available, in exchange for participating in the management of the space and developing activities open to participation as a return to the city.
The versatility of the residencies themselves, together with the multidisciplinary nature of Harinera ZGZ, have given rise to initiatives with very varied profiles among these 21 projects, ranging from graphic design, circus, ceramics, stop motion, community theater, textile art, communication, inclusive danceediting or photography, to classical music or sound art, among many others.
